Superintendent's Letter Regarding SPP Scores

On October 13, 2016, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) released School Performance Profile (SPP) scores for each of the schools in our district who participate in the Keystone Exam, PASA, or PSSA high stakes tests. On December 2, 2016, PDE shared recommendations presented to the state legislature that were the result of a series of formal and informal discussions.  These discussions explored ways that Pennsylvania can more holistically measure schools and student performance.  The recommendations are below.
